Domain Transfer Guide

Moving your new asset is a secure, standardized process. Here is everything you need to know about taking full ownership of your domain.

Transfer Methods

🅰️Option A: Internal Push (Fastest)

If you use the same registrar as the seller (e.g., Dynadot to Dynadot), we move the domain instantly between accounts.

Timeframe:Immediate to 24 hours.
Cost:Free.

🅱️Option B: Registrar Transfer (Standard)

Moving the domain to your preferred registrar (e.g., from our account to your Namecheap or Google account).

Timeframe:5–7 days (Registry standard).
Cost:Requires a 1-year renewal fee at your new registrar.

Step-by-Step Ownership Transfer

1

Payment & Escrow Secured

Once your payment is secured by our marketplace partners (Atom, Sedo, or Escrow.com), we are notified to begin the transfer.

2

The Authorization Code (EPP)

We provide you with a unique "Auth-Code" (also known as an EPP key). This is the digital "key" that unlocks the domain for movement.

3

Initiating the Move

You log into your preferred registrar, select "Transfer Domain," and enter the Auth-Code we provided.

4

Confirmation

Both parties receive confirmation emails. Once you approve the request in your dashboard, the registry begins the final move.

5

Full Ownership

The domain appears in your account. You now have 100% legal and technical control.

⚠️

Critical Rules

The 60-Day Lock

Per ICANN regulations, a domain cannot be transferred to a different registrar within 60 days of its initial registration or a previous transfer. If your domain is under this lock, we will perform an Internal Push or hold it securely until the lock expires.

WHOIS Data

Ensure your registrar account information is up to date before starting the transfer to avoid delays.

Email Access

You must have access to the administrative email associated with your registrar account to approve the transfer.

Your Investment is Protected

"We never handle your funds directly for external acquisitions. All transfers are facilitated through licensed escrow providers. If any technical issue arises during the transfer, we are here to assist until the domain is safely in your hands."
